I'm back and "Let ther be Halo" commentaries.
First off, I'm now back in the swing of things. Its been awhile since i updated you guys on goings on and all that shit. So here I am. Now, to comment on "Let there Be Halo".
I remember when I wrote the story for "Let there Be Halo". It was awhile ago. See this sort of spawned from me visiting a website called menconiministries.com
Its a website for "Christian Gamers" and rates games according to biblical values of said games. For example anything dealing with darker themes, use of magic, occult or any other type of thing like that will pretty much almost guarantee the game will get a bad rating. For example, GTA: San Andreas was pretty much one of the games of the year in the real world. Well when said game was rated by that website its was one of their worst games of the year due to violence, drug use,etc etc...pretty much everything that makes a game good by today's standards. Same thing with Halo (it was set in a futuristic and therefore unrealistic setting. The aliens didn't worship god, and the soldiers said "god damn" a couple times).
They're really hardcore over there. Check it out if you want to have a laugh. Because if you really find all these amazing games so repulsive because of your religion, you need to (a) not be playing games or (b) learn that games are just that...games. They aren't real life depictions of anything. Don't let the fundamentalists fool you. Just because a kid plays violent games doesn't mean they become "detached from reality" or "don't know the difference between right and wrong". Columbine wasn't caused by angry music or violent games. It was two fucked up kids not games, not music. They did it, not the games.
so yeah.
